On February 17, 2023, the Uva-Moloko plant received a certificate from the International Center for Standardization and Certification "Halal" (MCS "Halal") under the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of the Russian Federation
The audit included a comprehensive study by the representatives of the MCCS "Halal" of the features of the production of the plant's products. It has been established that the personnel, production process, equipment, technical documentation, storage facilities, raw materials and ingredients of dairy products: butter, semi-hard and soft cheeses, spreads, cheese products and dry dairy products - whole and skimmed milk powder and demineralized whey allow us to produce a list of declared for Halal certification of products in accordance with the requirements of the Halal standard.
A Halal certificate is a document required to confirm that products comply with Halal requirements and standards. It gives the right to manufacture and sell Halal-labeled products on the Russian market, as well as to participate in international trade.
Since halal food is considered healthy, the certificate allows the manufacturer to increase its reputation and additional chances to work in the Arab market.
The certificate is valid until February 28, 2026
