On May 18, Patriarch Kirill visited the Udmurt Republic and consecrated the Annunciation Cathedral in the city of Votkinsk.

Following the Divine Liturgy at the cathedral, Patriarch Kirill presented awards to benefactors and philanthropists who played a significant role in its restoration. Among the honorees were the Head of the Udmurt Republic, Aleksandr Brechalov, and the General Director of MLK-Group, Aleksandr Emshanov.

Aleksandr Brechalov supported the initiative to restore the cathedral and joined the ranks of its major patrons. By decree of the Patriarch of Moscow and All Rus’, he was awarded the Order of the Holy Prince Daniel of Moscow, Second Class, of the Russian Orthodox Church.

The Order of St. Seraphim of Sarov, Third Class, was awarded to: – Aleksandr Emshanov, General Director of Uva-Moloko Ltd. – Andrey Ryumin, Chairman of the Board of Rosseti – Igor Churbanov, General Director of the Votkinsk Plant
